This STRATO-THERM heat-resistant ring tongue crimping terminal is designed to terminate single wire or stranded wire conductors made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper. When the terminals are crimped, inside the wire, the barrel sawtooth or dimple maximizes the electrical contact area after crimping. The maximum operating temperature of this STRATO-THERM heat-resistant ring tongue crimping terminal is 343 °C (650 °F).
