• TE Connectivity Scalable Spring Finger Contact • Spring fingers (Shield finger, ground spring, universal ground contact, or clip) are designed for small substrate applications in a variety of industries.　These spring fingers are single-contact SMT-mounted internal connectors that provide a grounding connection between the device and the substrate and a shield to prevent EMI noise and static electricity.　Scalable spring fingers use a common footprint, so you can easily design them without using extra space on the board when changing from one operating height to another. These spring fingers prevent them from getting tangled in the operator's gloves or causing deflection during substrate transport.　Contact dimples increase contact force, and solder holes in the substrate increase soldering strength and prevent wicking.　Automatic assembly is achieved in the pick-and-place area on the contact.　These small-sized spring fingers save substrate space and provide a variety of substrate layouts.　These spring finger contacts are available in three different styles: Type A (part number 2199248-X), Type B (part number 2199249-X), and Type C (part number X-2199250-X).
