• The inner surface of the barrel is serrated to maximize the strength of extension and the area of electrical contact after crimping.
• The resulting "W" crimp enables you to use shorter, more cost-effective barrels.
• The opening in the barrel of the SOLISTRAND ring terminal is bell-shaped and allows easy insertion of wires, which reduces installation time.
• To optimize the combination of mechanical strength and conductivity, the SOLISTRAND ring terminals are installed using a special SOLISTRAND crimping tool sold separately.
