• Insulation and non-insulation RCA pin jacks and φ3.5 jacks for panel mounting can be divided into "insulation type" and "non-insulation type." What is insulated or uninsulated? When a connector is attached to a panel, it means whether the GND terminal of the connector makes contact with the panel. ・In the case of the insulated type, the GND terminal of the connector is not connected (contacted) with the panel. ・The non-insulated type is electrically connected when the panel is metallic. Use an insulated connector when you do not want to create a GND (ground) loop. *A GND loop is a loop of wire, and a loop of GND wire is called a GND loop.
