• Wire type can remove oxide and excess solder, while leaving some solder at the tip of the iron. In addition, the flux contained in the cleaning wire has the effect of mitigating oxidation of the iron tip after cleaning.

• Unlike sponge type which is used with water, water is not used, so the temperature of the iron tip decreases less each time it is cleaned, resulting in higher workability.
