• 3M D3000 Series 2.54 x 2.54 mm Shrouded Board Ejector Header
• The 3M D3000 Series board through hole mounting wire-to-board header has 2 rows of square pins with a pitch of 2.54 x 2.54 mm. The D3000 series header is fully shrouded to protect the contacts from damage and securely connects to the circuit board with mounting holes. The ejecting latch of the header for connecting the D3000 series circuit board can be securely connected to the mating connector and easily removed as needed. This ejector latch design uses a roll pin to increase retention in severe vibration applications and to prevent breakage during ejecting. Eject latches must be supplied with the header or purchased separately. The D3000 Series shrouded circuit board connection header has a cutout inside the housing and is compatible with center bump polarized mating connectors. Adding a polarity slot can reduce quick connections and misalignment. Military polarity is also available using the polarity key (3M part number N3518). This header type can use a high temperature PCT thermoplastic housing and is suitable for lead-free soldering processes up to 260°C (JEDEC J-STD-020C). Available in light angle/vertical mounting and a variety of contact numbers, the D3000 series header provides a versatile solution for wire-to-board requirements.
