• 1206 size FT-CAP SMT MLCC ceramic capacitors provide flex performance of up to 5 mm using a flexible termination system that minimizes board flex stress transferred to the component body. These FT-CAP MLCC SMT ceramic capacitors use a bendable, conductive epoxy between the base metal of the termination system and the nickel barrier layer, which prevents the transfer of board stress to the ceramic body and reduces the occurrence of bending cracks that can lead to low-IR or short-circuit failures. Furthermore, these FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors have a wide operating temperature range from -55 to 125°C, low ESR and ESL, high thermal stability and high ripple current performance. Typical applications for these FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors include power supplies, fluorescent ballasts for LCD backlights, HID lighting, telecommunications equipment, industrial and medical equipment/controls, LAN/WAN interfaces, analog and digital modems, and automotive applications.
