• The 0603 size AECQ200 automotive grade SMT FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors provide flex performance of up to 5 mm using a flexible termination system that minimizes board flex stress transferred to the component body. These FT-CAP MLCC SMT ceramic capacitors use a bendable, conductive epoxy between the base metal of the termination system and the nickel barrier layer, which prevents the transfer of board stress to the ceramic body and reduces the occurrence of bending cracks that can lead to low-IR or short-circuit failures. In addition, these automotive grade FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors have a wide operating temperature range from -55 to 125°C, low ESR and ESL, high thermal stability and high ripple current performance. Typical applications of these FT-CAP MLCC ceramic capacitors include blocking and storage in critical timing, tuning, low-loss circuits, circuits with pulse, high current, decoupling, bypass, filtering, transient voltage suppression, and critical safety-related circuits that do not incorporate current limiters.
