• KEMET's KC-LINK surface-mounted capacitors are designed to meet the growing demand for high-speed switching wide-bandgap (WBG) semiconductors operating at high voltages, temperatures and frequencies. These capacitors utilize KEMET's robust proprietary C0G/NPO base metal electrode (BME) dielectric system, making them ideal for power converters, inverters, snubbers, resonators and other applications where high efficiency is critical. KC-LINK capacitors have very low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and very low thermal resistance, allowing them to operate at very high ripple currents with no change in capacitance to DC voltage and negligible change in capacitance to heat. With operating temperatures up to 150°C, it can be mounted close to high-speed switching semiconductors that require little cooling in high-power-density equipment.
