The KEMET T520 Organic Capacitor (KO-CAP) is a tantalum capacitor with a Ta anode and a Ta2 O5 dielectric. Conductive organic polymers are an alternative to the cathode plates used in conventional capacitors. This results in very low ESR at high frequencies and improved capacitance retention.
