• The maximum operating temperature of the Kemet 0402X5R dielectric surface mount capacitor can be up to very high temperatures. The X5R dielectric is defined as a Class II material by the EIA (Electronics Components, Assemblies; Materials Association). This class of components is a fixed ceramic dielectric capacitor suitable for bypass and decoupling applications or for frequency discrimination circuits where Q and capacitance stability characteristics are not important.
