• This series is a double-barreled variable resistor with a shaft diameter of 6 mm. Please check the specifications (numerical value) as there may be differences in the length of the axis even if the image photos are the same. Variable resistors vary in the relationship between the rotation angle of the axis and the change in resistance, and are usually A-curve, B-curve, and rarely C-curve. ○The A-curve is exponential and ideal for audio volume control (volume control). ○The B-curve is a linear change and is used to adjust the voltage of general equipment. ○The C curve is the reverse of the rotation direction of the A curve and is used to adjust the gain of the amplifier, etc. In the A characteristic, the resistance value of the tap changes exponentially with respect to the rotation angle, and the B characteristic changes linearly. For volume control (volume control), I usually use A characteristic. The B characteristic is not electrically unusable either, but it changes from a position where the sound suddenly becomes louder when the knob is turned. There are several other classifications of the relationship between rotation angle and resistance change, such as C-characteristics, but demand is mostly for A and B.
