• When you want to connect a fan with a large 4-pin connector to the motherboard.
• 4-pin (large) knife = > converted to 3-pin knife for fan.
• When you want to connect a fan with a 4-pin (large) connector to a fan connector on a fan con or motherboard. Note: Since there is no pulse signal from the 4-pin (large), this function cannot be used with a fan controller that operates using a pulse signal.
