• Connectors for Amphenol HD-BNC Substrates for High-Density Cable Types The connectors for Amphenol HD-BNC substrates are 4 times denser than conventional RF BNC connectors and have a true 75 Ω impedance that exceeds the industry standard of SMPTE 292M and 424M. The Amphenol HD-BNC connector is 51% smaller than the BNC, 39% smaller than the mini BNC, and 40% smaller than the Din 1.0/2.3 connector, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including broadcasting, digital video-HDTV, network routing and switching, and satellite headends.
