• The Arduino Fio is a redesigned toolkit (software library + hardware) that was originally called Funnel and is now a variant of Arduino. You can work with sensors and actuators in programming languages such as ActionScript 3, Processing, and Ruby. In addition to the microcomputer chip, clock oscillator, and power supply IC, it has a connector for connecting lithium polymer batteries, a charging circuit, and a connector for mounting the XBee module. It has a mini-USB connector, but no USB-serial interface IC for charging lithium-polymer batteries, which Aruduino uses to write programs.
