  • Schneider Electric Auxiliary Contacts - LADN TeSys D Series
  • Do you want to add auxiliary contacts to your control circuit for added security? Schneider Electric offers the latest auxiliary contact components. In particular, auxiliary contactors in the LADN TeSys series increase circuit reliability by acting as secondary switching devices that work with other key devices such as contactors, relays and Circuit Breakers.
  • Features and Benefits:
  • Low power consumption of the control circuitry Mechanical durability is 30 M cycle light and compact and easily mounts on compatible contactors. Simplifies direct mounting to front-mounted contactors/Circuit Breakers. Compact size, even if conductor creep (characteristic deformation) occurs, EverLink Terminal technology Schneider18 months manufacturer warranty protection rating and safety features IEC 60947-5-1 related fuse rating GG fuse; 10 A BS 4795, EN 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-5-1 CSA, UL approved IP2X (VDE 0106 compliant with IEC 60068 temperature treatment and protection Ambient Operating Temperature (AAT) -5 ~ 60 °C.
  • Application
  • Motor Starter/Control System Switch Contactor/Relay Coil Control/Signal Equipment
  • How do auxiliary contacts work?
  • Auxiliary contacts are electromechanical devices typically attached to contactors. They are physically connected to the contactor, with simultaneous activation and deactivation applied simultaneously to both devices. The AUX contacts can be mounted on the contactors either front mounted or side mounted. This is usually clear on the shape and size of the product, but check your device for compatibility. Aux contacts are very useful for monitoring contactors. For example, you can connect a low-voltage LED directly to an auxiliary contactor (provided the auxiliary contactor is electrically isolated from the contactor) without worrying about the overall voltage of the connected contactor. You can use the LEDs to monitor the device. In other words, you can check whether the motor is off or on.
