• Selecting the Right Size Round Terminal
• The following points should be considered when selecting a round terminal suitable for your application.

• How to crimp the round terminal
• First, select the round terminal of the correct size. Remove the end of the wire and cut it so that it is the same length as the terminal. Insert the wire into the terminal barrel so that the bare wire is not visible. You are now ready to crimp the crimp terminal to the end of the wire. Although pliers and ratchets can be used to crimp wire terminals, we recommend that you use a ratchet crimp tool for better crimping. Because the handle remains locked until the crimp cycle is complete, we recommend that you use a ratchet crimp tool. This prevents a half-finished crimp. Insert the barrel of the round terminal into the appropriate crimp (size indicated on the tool). Squeeze the tool handle until the ratchet is released. The round crimp terminal can now be placed on the stud or post and secured in place by nuts or soldering.
