This controller can be used in current (torque) control mode or speed control mode. For severe applications, a shaft-mounted DC taco generator that provides velocity feedback is recommended. For less severe applications, you can use armature voltage feedback (Avf). Reference signals for current control and speed control are bipolar (10 V) or unipolar (0 → 10 V).
