• The Festo DSNU series circular air cylinders feature adjustable air cushions at both ends of the actuator barrel. Stainless steel piston rods are used within the three-component system for superior operating performance and long service life. These double-acting air actuators have two connecting ports for compressed air and are used to push and pull the piston rod in a straight line. With a wide range of accessories, DSNU cylinders can be mounted virtually anywhere.

• Adjustable cushion air cylinders of the DSNU PPV type are equipped with a special cushion piston as an extension of the main piston. This air cushion forms an air cushion that absorbs energy in its final position, compressing and exhausting air as desired. Cylinders using this energy absorption method are suitable for high speed applications with medium to high loads.

• The DSNU Series circular air actuators conform to ISO6432 standards and can be mounted in any position to suit the application requirements. The ISO6432 standard specifies the metric mounting dimensions of cylinders to ensure compatibility between commonly used hydraulic and air cylinders. Optional mounting accessories provide additional flexibility. Cylinders can be mounted with swivel blanking for free movement, attached to the legs to support heavy loads, or combined with other actuators to achieve a wider range of movement.
