- Strong ultraviolet rays, such as those from germicidal lamps, accelerate the elution (bleed) of plasticizers in soft PVC films, causing stickiness and deterioration. The Achilles Seiden F-UV Guard protects the surface of antistatic and ultraviolet absorbing vinyl chloride with a fluorine-based film to prevent the elution of plasticizer and significantly extend its useful life under the same conditions.
