• The XPSECME safety module from Schneider Electrics enables you to expand the number of safety contacts available on XPS-based modules. It comes with 24 V ac/dc, 4 safety circuits, 2 additional outputs, and removable spring terminals. This safety module meets the requirements of PL e/Category 4 according to EN/ISO13849-1 and SILCL3 according to EN/IEC61508 (when connected to an appropriate module). An additional feature of the XPS Base Module (Emergency stop, limit switch, two-hand control, etc.) is the ability to extend the number of safety contacts. 24 V ac/dc power supplies can be supplied directly from auxiliary transformers such as ABT7 and ABL6, Reducing installation time. Removable terminals provide easy and precise control of wire tightening for increased installation reliability. With spring terminals, safety circuits can be wired quickly and reliably.
