• OPTIBELT ribbed belts combine the high flexibility of flat belts with the high performance of V-belts. V-shaped parallel ribs are made of abrasion-resistant rubber compounds. This high-strength tension cord is designed for many applications in ribbed belts. It is embedded in a rubber-based adhesive mixture and covers the entire width of the ribbed belt. Fiber-reinforced, wear-resistant rubber compounds provide silent operation, oil resistance, heat resistance and long belt life. It can be used with backbend idlers such as low vibration, low noise serpentine drives, high belt speeds, very good dynamic power transmission.
