• The XCSE key-operated safety switch from Schneider Electrics is for solenoid-locked guard doors. It features an adjustable turret head and a solid Red coated rectangular Zamak body with 2 x M20 Cable ground entries for flexible installation. It has three always-closed (slow break) main contacts that are activated by the key, and a contact state that is displayed when the key is inserted. There is also one auxiliary contact that is always open and one auxiliary contact that is always closed and operated by the solenoid, and a contact state when the solenoid is not powered. Reliability data for B10d is 5, 000, 000. Ideal for heavy-duty applications under extreme conditions with IP67 protection rating. It also meets the EN/ISO14119, EN/IEC60204-1, EN/IEC60947-5-1, UL508 and CSA C22.2 No 14 standards. Complies with SIL 3 as described in EN/IEC61508, category 4, performance level PL e, EN/ISO13849-1, when associated with an appropriate safety control unit and properly connected.
