• Why use HIS-3 BAG series heat shrink tubing The HIS-3 BAG series heat shrink tubing is conveniently bagged with pre-cut parts and provides excellent cable protection, excellent insulation and flame resistance. A heat shrinkage ratio of 3:1 means that when a tube is heated, it shrinks to 1/3 of its original diameter. A heat gun or heat shrink oven is the best way to shrink tubes. Be sure to check the tube heating temperature before heating. Always review all health and safety precautions before using the heating device.
