• The Altivar ATV212 inverter drive from Schneider Electric is a recent update to the older ATV21 variable speed motor. This VFD drive can control the output frequency in the range of 0.5 ~ 200 Hz. The Altivar 212 HVAC drive is built for performance, intelligence and protection.

• It is important that the drive is installed in a dust- and moisture-proof enclosure in environments such as dust, corrosive gases, or high humidity, or where liquids may drip or splash around. This is to protect the drives and to prevent the maximum internal temperature of 50°C inside the enclosure. • When does the ATV212 VFD switch cooling fan turn on?
• The ATV212 fan control strategy is to start the fan when the drive is in the "RUN" state. The "STOP" command will stop the fan. There is a time delay depending on the thermal condition.
