• KEMET's C0G dielectric has a maximum operating temperature of 125°C and is considered "stable." The EIA (Electronics Components, Assemblies & Materials Association) defines the C0G dielectric as a Class I material. Components in this category are temperature compensated and are suitable for resonant circuit applications and where capacitance Q characteristics and stability are required. The variation of the capacitance of C0G with time and voltage is predictable. Also, the variation of capacitance with ambient temperature is negligible. Capacitance fluctuation is limited to ±30 ppm/°C in the range from -55 to +125°C.
