• KEMET's C0G dielectric has a maximum operating temperature of 125°C and is considered "stable." EIA (Electronics Components, Assemblies Materials Association) defines a C0G dielectric as a Class I material. This class of components is designed for temperature compensation and is suitable for resonant circuit applications and applications requiring quality and stable capacitance. There is no change in capacitance of C0G with time and voltage. Also, the variation of capacitance with ambient temperature is negligible. Capacitance variation is limited to ±30 ppm/°C in the range of -55 to +125°C.
