- KEMET surface-mounted multilayer ceramic chip capacitors are designed for applications requiring high capacitance and voltage without additional substrate space. It uses high-density packaging technology and uses an innovative Transient Liquid Phase Sintering (TLPS) material to provide a surface-mounted multi-chip solution for high-density packaging. The X7R dielectric has a maximum operating temperature of 125 °C and is considered "stable." The X7R dielectric is defined as a Class II material by the EIA (Electronics Components, Assemblies and Materials Association). This class of components is a fixed ceramic dielectric capacitor suitable for bypass and decoupling applications or for frequency discrimination circuits where Q and capacitance stability characteristics are not important.
