• KEMET's U2J Series Flexible Terminated Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (FT-CAP) incorporate a flexible termination system that employs conductive silver epoxy between the base metal and nickel barrier layer of KEMET's standard termination system to ensure flexibility while maintaining terminal strength, solderability and electrical performance. Flexible termination technology prevents the transfer of board stress to the rigid ceramic body, reducing the occurrence of bending cracks that can lead to failures due to low IR or short circuits. It has an operating temperature range of -55 to +125°C, a capacitance of up to 470 nF, and a 100% pure brushed tin-plated terminal finish for excellent solderability.
