• Multilayer ceramic capacitors (often referred to as MLCCs) are specially designed capacitors that are designed to be constructed in a "multi-layer" structure. In addition to the ceramic material, this structure includes a metal conductive layer. The ceramic layer insulates the capacitor and reduces heat loss, increasing product efficiency. Multilayer capacitors have high thermal stability, high ripple current resistance, and extremely low ESR (equivalent series resistance) and ESL (equivalent series inductance), making them ideal for a variety of applications.
