64-9123-60 Radiometer RM-D C15-6999
特徴
- If it is placed near a window, sunlight will cause it, and if it is indoors, four blades inside the glass will keep rotating in response to incandescent lights.
- The speed of rotation varies depending on the intensity of the light.
- When the light is strong, the speed of rotation increases.
仕様
- Material: Borosilicate glass, MDF, others
- Size: 80 x 80 x 105 mm
- *Because they are handmade, there may be slight individual differences in the shape and size of the glass.
- rotating principle
- The radiometer is an experimental instrument designed by the British physicist Crooks in the 1870s to convert solar energy into kinetic energy.
- One side of the feather in the glass is painted black. When exposed to light, the black blade surface absorbs the light and raises the temperature.
- The molecular activity of the gas near its surface increases, and the pressure caused by molecular collisions on the blade surface makes a difference from the other surface, so the blade rotates toward the unpainted surface. (The inside of the glass ball is in a semi-vacuum state.)
