• SUPERCON® Socket Receptacles mate with Pin Plugs only. SUPERCON® Electrical Connectors Socket Receptacle. Superior Electric SUPERCON® Socket Receptacle electrical connectors incorporate advanced engineering features to provide safe, rapid and positive panel board connections. Single conductor socket and pin type plugs and receptacles are offered for 25, 50, 100 and 250 A capacities. The 25, 50 and 100 A types are rated 125 V ac/dc to 250 V ac/dc, 250 A types are rated 600 V unenergized connect or disconnect use only. SUPERCON® connector plugs have functionally designed grips for handling ease. The variety of six colours permits wider freedom in patch board distribution layouts. Cable fastening screws allow use of a wide range of cable sizes. Plug grips are a simple, two-piece threaded construction for quick assembly. Receptacles are moulded of colour-matched nylon caps and bodies that permit rapid and accurate circuit identification front and back of panel. Wiring connection is made to a threaded stud in the rear of the panel.
