• SFH 9500 and SFH 9540 Slotted Interrupters. These slotted infrared opto interrupters from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors have a phototransistor output. They come in a compact surface mount (SMD) package with a vertical aperture. The package is made using black LCP and contains an IR emitter with a wavelength of 940 or 950nm. The slotted interrupters also feature a silicon phototransistor with a daylight filter to reduce interference from extraneous light sources. Typical applications for the slotted interrupters include speed control, motor control, monitoring of paper feed, disk drives, coin detection and optoelectronic switches..
