Insulation Crimping Adjustment Pins. The insulation crimping section of the tool is adjustable so it can accommodate different wire insulation diameters. This adjustment is made by inserting an adjustment pin into one of 3 positions in the head of the tool. Handle Colour and Dot Code. The handles of the crimping tool are colour coded to match the terminal size the tool is designed to crimp.
