The highly integrated smart gate drive optocouplers provide integrated protection features; Active Miller Clamp, under voltage lockout, fault and UVLO status feedback and desaturation detection. Beside the protection features, Avago Technologies have also an integrated DC-DC controller for floating power supply. The isolated gate driver optocouplers are ideal for use in motor control and power conversion applications. This solution isolates and protects logic signals from high voltages.
