These aluminium rods and bars from RS are produced in the recently-developed alloy 6026 to meet the needs of European Environmental Protection Directives: 2000/53/CE-ELV – for the automotive sector; 2002/95/CE-RoHS – for the electronics and electrical sector. Alloy 6026 contains no Tin (Sn) which is known to cause some weakness and/or cracking of machined parts if subjected to high temperatures or stress. Applications:.
