64-1077-07 generator of arsenic hydride JS196-1
Features
- Arsenic hydride generation procedure: Measure the sample (0.002 ~0.01 mg arsenic equivalent) into a beaker, add sulfuric acid and nitric acid, and heat to decompose the sample.
- Rinse the decomposed sample with water, transfer to an arsenic hydride generation bottle (Erlenmeyer flask), add hydrochloric acid, potassium iodide solution, and tin chloride solution, and shake.
- The ball-shaped sphere in the conduit above the arsenic hydride generation bottle is filled with glass fibers moistened with a solution of lead acetate.
- Lead acetate solution adsorbs interfering gases other than arsenic hydride.
- Zinc is quickly poured into the arsenic hydride generation bottle, and arsenic hydride generated by leaving it for 1 hour is absorbed into silver diethyldithiocarbamate solution to produce color.
- To this solution add chloroform to dissolve completely, take a part of it, transfer it to an absorption cell, and measure the absorbance around 510 nm.
- The concentration of arsenic is calculated from the calibration curve.
