These DF12D SMT board to board header connectors have a metal fittings for board retention. DF12 SMT Header and Receptacle connector mated stacking heights:. DF12(3.0)-xxxx-xxxx have a stacking height of 3mm DF12(3.5)-xxxx-xxxx have a stacking height of 3.5mm DF12(4.0)-xxxx-xxxx have a stacking height of 4.0mm DF12(5.0)-xxxx-xxxx have a stacking height of 5.0mm If no figure in brackets is quoted then the stacking height will be 3.5 to 5.0mm.
