These Souriau 8STA motorsport connectors are small and light weight circular plug connectors suitable for Formula 1, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, kart racing, boat racing and many other motorsports and also many other applications that require a robust circular connector such as military, including UAV, ground vehicles and Infantry interconnections where size and weight are an important design consideration. Souriau 8STA series circular plug connectors size 10 feature a colour coded banding system for easy identification and mate in 1/3 of a turn with an audible click, these motorsport developed 8STA connectors are available with male or female gender contacts in multiple contact layout versions. Shock resistance 300g for 3ms and EIA-364-27 Vibration 147m/s ;sup>2 ;/sup>, 10 to 2000Hz 100% scoop proof EMI-RFI Shielding Quick mating bayonet lock,1/3 turn Compact, lightweight design with colour indicator Body: Aluminium alloy, conductive black zinc plated IP67 rated (1 metre for 30 mins. minimum) Grommet and seal, liquid silicone rubber Gold plated copper alloy contacts.
