- Souriau 8STA Series, Size 2 Oval Flange Receptacle Connectors. Souriau 8STA series, size 2 oval flange circular receptacle connectors are derived from MIL-DTL-38999 specifications and developed primarily for the motorsport connector market, durable, lightweight receptacle connectors with a superb tolerance to vibration, impact and harsh environments. These Souriau 8STA motorsport connectors are small and light weight circular receptacle connectors suitable for Formula 1, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, kart racing, boat racing and many other motorsports and also many other applications that require a robust circular connector such as military, including UAV, ground vehicles and Infantry interconnections where size and weight are an important design consideration. Souriau 8STA series oval flange circular receptacle connectors size 2 feature a colour coded banding system for easy identification and mate in 1/3 of a turn with an audible click, these motorsport developed 8STA connectors are available with male or female gender contacts in multiple contact layout versions. Shock resistance 300g for 3ms and EIA-364-27 Vibration 147m/s ;sup>2 ;/sup>, 10 to 2000Hz Quick mating bayonet lock,1/3 turn ultra compact, lightweight design with colour indicator Aluminium alloy, conductive black zinc IP67 rated (1 metre for 30 mins. minimum) Grommet and seal, liquid silicone rubber Gold plated copper alloy contacts. Supplied complete with contacts and extraction tool
