The HELENA series from LEDiL are a family of LED lenses engineered using Diamond tuning methods. This ensures that the lenses have a surface accuracy of a hundredth of a millimetre, giving better control of the light and higher efficiency. There are two options within the HELENA family. The HELENA-A is designed for a maximum intensity peak for a good on-axis candela value. HELENA-B has a pillow texture on the top of the lens to widen and smooth the light slightly. Suitable applications for the HELENA lenses include stage lighting, indoor architecture lighting and retail lighting. Made using an optical grade PC, the HELENA lenses offer a high UV and temperature resistance. HELENA lenses have been designed and optimised for use with a variety of LEDs. Due to the rapidly changing nature of LED products customers are strongly advised to consult the latest manufacturer data for compatible LEDs.
