- Evaluation Board for LVDT Signal Conditioning Application. The EVAL-CN0301-SDPZ ( ; 803-1706 803-1706 ) is an evaluation board from Analog Devices implementing a complete adjustment-free linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) signal conditioning circuit; EVAL-CFTL-LVDT ( ; 803-1591 803-1591 ) is the LVDT required for use with the evaluation board. The evaluation board circuit uses the AD698 LVDT Signal Conditioner IC which contains a sine wave oscillator and a power amplifier to generate the required excitation signals that drive the primary side of the LVDT; it also converts the LVDT secondary output into a dc voltage. The circuit produces an I2C compatible digital output via an AD7992 12-bit ADC. The following ICs are included on the evaluation board:.
