This is an e-Mesh dedicated repeater model that builds a mesh network in a wider area by connecting to an e-Mesh router *. *Sold separately • If you move to a new home and your house becomes larger, you can add the unit to cover a larger area.
It is equipped with Erecom's proprietary "e-Mesh" mesh technology developed jointly with chip manufacturers.
With e-Mesh, you don't need to make any difficult settings. Automatically build a comfortable and secure network.
You don't need an app, just press the WPS button to connect an e-Mesh router and an e-Mesh dedicated repeater to build a mesh network.
Equipped with a high-power built-in antenna that utilizes the know-how of DX Antenna, a group company, it achieves comfortable communication while looking clean.
Since it can also be used as an Ethernet converter, up to four wired devices without wireless functions, such as TVs and recorders, can be converted to wireless devices.
It is noise-resistant and equipped with 2 x 2 internal antennas that are independent and highly sensitive in the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands.
High speeds of up to 867Mbps (standard value) can be achieved in the 5 GHz band, which is resistant to radio interference, and up to 400Mbps (standard value) can be achieved in the 2.4 GHz band, which is a common communication band. *For 400Mbps communication, the unit must support 256QAM communication.
It is equipped with a dual-core CPU that eliminates the processing latency that occurs when the 5 GHz band and 2.4 GHz band communicate simultaneously.
Equipped with "band steering function," it automatically selects and connects the more comfortable band (5 GHz/2.4 GHz band).
With the MU-MIMO function, which allows multiple terminals to transmit different data, multiple terminals can communicate and process at the same time if they support MU-MIMO. *Up to two simultaneous connections. The connection device must also support MU-MIMO.
Beamforming Z, which concentrates radio waves, makes the connection more comfortable on compatible devices such as iPhoneXS and XR.
All ports support giga-optical communication, allowing you to maximize your line speed.
