• Flaring Pin. Manual flaring tools are used to produce the required 37° flare at the hydraulic tube end to ensure an effective single seal point between the nose of the Triple-Lok flared tube fitting and the tube. These tools are used in a standard workshop vice and the flare is produced by clamping the tube flush in the block halves and hammering the flare pin. A separate block and pin set is used for each tube size.
