When squeezed with pliers the push button terminates the wires by inserting them into an IDC crimp contact. This IDC technology eliminates the need to pre-strip wires and saves installation time. The clear body of these CoolSplice connectors enables visual inspection of the connection and the push buttons are colour coded to aid wire size identification.
