- MIC45116 Synchronous Step Down Regulator
- Microchip's synchronous step down (back) regulator uses a unique adaptive on-time control architecture. This highly integrated device contains a DC/DC controller, a power MOSFET, a bootstrap diode, a bootstrap capacitor, and an inductor in one package. The internal inductors and MOSFETs are optimized for efficient operation at low output voltages. The device can provide a load current of up to 6 A over an input voltage range of 4.75 V to 20 V without additional cooling.
