• The FunctionMAX FX30B 3.81 mm Board-to-Board connector has a unique floating construction that allows for installation misalignment in equipment with multiple stacking connectors.　The contacts on these connectors are designed to have +0.3 mm play in the XY direction and 1 mm play in the Z direction.　The floating contact is centered in the X and Y directions and absorbs misalignment for safe and accurate engagement.　This floating feature removes the stress of misalignment and prevents solder from cracking, eliminating the need for rework.　The large engagement guides on both sides of the FX30B header engage the receptacle ribs for a secure connection.　These molded guide posts provide ±1.3 mm of play in the XY direction, making engagement easy and preventing accidental insertion.　There are 6 keys around the mating surface of the FX20 connector to prevent reverse insertion.　The brackets on both sides of the FX30B connector are strong and secure to the board. These metal fittings are also resistant to deformation in both directions.　The FX30B connector contacts have a high current capacity of 13-17 A per pin. The FX20 receptacle connector features gold-plated contacts and a multi-point structure with 4 independent contacts to enhance contact reliability.　The FX30B PC-to-PCB connector has a 2-step contact timing sequence that requires less force for insertion and removal.
