Air cylinder operation The ADVC series is a double-acting actuator. Add air to deflate/retract the piston linearly to the desired stroke length. The magnetic piston rod enables contactless position detection via a proximity sensor mounted in a slot along the cylinder body. Cylinders have flexible polymer end cushions to reduce noise and vibration, extend service life and increase output and productivity.
