• The Festo DFM series guided air cylinders house the double-acting drive and guide unit in a single housing. Recirculating ball bearings drive the guide rods, making them ideal for applications where torque loads are present. Designed for high-load pneumatic applications such as clamping, stopping, material handling and lifting. With its sturdy and precise aluminum structure, it is maintenance-free and highly resistant to torque and external lateral force. Compact design with piston rod integrated as part of guide body.　The DFM series guided actuators feature flexible cushion plates to reduce operating noise and extend life. An integrated slot in the actuator body enables the measurement of linear motion of the piston by incorporating a proximity sensor. Air supply ports on both the top and sides of the cylinder allow for flexible positioning.
