This AMP-LATCH ribbon cable header has military/center polarity and an ejector latch. Ejector latches provide a secure connection to or easy removal from the IDC ribbon cable receptacle connector that engages. This AMP-LATCH board ribbon cable header connector has a long or short latch.　Part numbers X-1761606-X and X-1761607-X are equipped with long latches Part numbers X-1761608-X and X-1761609-X are equipped with short latches The connector of the long latch engages with the receptacle connector without strain relief. The short-latch connector meshes with the receptacle connector in strain relief.
